Governor Bala receives Management of Bauchi Federal Polytechnic

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has received in audience, the management of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi on a courtesy visit to Bauchi Government House.

Expressing delight for the visit, Governor Bala appreciated the Polytechnic for supporting his administration’s commitment to rebuilding the state through education and manpower in the technical area.

He added that his administration will provide a required security as well as construction of 3-kilometer road in the Polytechnic saying that all abandoned projects by the previous administration will be reviewed and revised.

Governor Bala informed the educational institution that his administration has completed the construction of over 3000 classroom and has since declared emergency on education in an effort to reviving the education and curbing the out of school syndrome.

In the health sector, the Governor said in collaboration with international agencies, over 400 PHCs have been built in addition to numerous renovated and upgraded ones in line with his commitment to providing accessible and affordable healthcare to the citizens of Bauchi State.

Earlier speaking, the rector, Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, Arc. Sanusi Waziri Gumau appreciated the gesture and concern by the State Government under the leadership of Governor Bala adding that the Polytechnic will cooperate and provide maximum support.
