Governor Bala receives committee on Civil Service

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed today received report of the committee set up to recommend appointments of Heads of Civil Service and Permanent Secretaries.

Receiving the commitee at Council Chamber, Government House Bauchi, Governor Bala assured civil servants in the state that the recommendations of the committee will be implemented for the best interest of the system.

He described bad governance, lack of compliance to public service rules as factors responsible for the numerous challenges facing civil service.

The Governor said his administration will make a difference by adhering to public service rules especially in the appointments of Head of Civil Service and Permanent Secretaries.

Governor Bala therefore assured that Bauchi State will be in the forefront of repositioning its civil service by ensuring carrier development and progress.

Presenting the report, the committee leader who is the Chairman of Dugge Management Services, Alhaji Gambo Magaji appreciated the foresight of Governor Bala for setting up the Committee.
