Governor Bala Receives British High Commission Delegation

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, today recieved in audience officials of the British High Commission led by the Head of Political Desk, Dr. Cattrine Brootus.

During an interactive session with the commission at the Council Chamber, Government House Bauchi, Governor Bala welcomed them to Bauchi saying that their visit is timely and auspicious.

The Governor said the partnership between Bauchi and British is for both historical and cultural.

He assured them of his administration readiness to strengthening relationship with the Commission to identify areas of special needs.

Governor Bala thanked the leader of the High British Commission for her full participation during the receny Nort East Governors meeting conducted in Bauchi, assuring her that Governors in the region are committed to tackling security challenges.

Earlier, The Head of Political Desk of the British High Commission, Dr Cattrine Brootus said the United Kingdom will provide technical support to the State Government in solar energy, health, education and facilitate public private partnership.

She added that Bauchi State has so much potentials therefore the commission will improve on its partnership with the State Government to advance critical sectors.
