Governor Bala Mohammed Honored with Award of Excellence for his Economic Blueprint

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, alongside Emirs of Bauchi, Katagum, and Misau, received an honorary Award of Excellence from the Bauchi State Chapter of the Amalgamated Traders Union of Nigeria.

The award was presented during the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected executive leaders of the Union at Zaranda Hotel, Bauchi.

The Honorable Commissioner for Commerce and Industries, Abdulʙadir Binni, received the award on behalf of the Governor.

Comrade Muktar Gidado, Special Adviser on Media, expressed gratitude, citing the Governor’s dedication to economic growth and development.

Comrade Gidado who double as Special Guest of Honor added that Present administration’s focus on infrastructure development, including modern markets in Bauchi Metropolis, Azare Town, and other towns, aims to boost economic activities.

Alhaji Abdullahi 86, National President of the Northern Amalgamated Traders Union, announced plans to confer another Award of Excellence on Governor Mohammed at the national level.

State Chairman Abdullahi Y. Muhammad commended the Governor for his support to the Union.

This recognition underscores Governor Mohammed’s commitment to empowering traders and driving economic growth in Bauchi State.
