Governor Bala inspects more projects

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed today inspected additional projects awarded by his administration to deepen monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.

The projects visited were renovated Gabarin Primary Healthcare Centre, Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Centre, Darazo, ongoing construction and upgrading of Maladu Ayuba Primary School, Dagauda in Dambam Damban.

Others were Primary Healthcare Centre Bulkachuwa and urban primary healthcare centre Azare, ongoing upgrade of Model Science School Azare, Central Model School Mashema and construction of Wuro Nagge Primary Healthcare Centre in Giade.

Speaking at the renovated Gabarin primary healthcare Centre, Governor Bala noted with concern the quality of mattresses in the Centre and directed for immediate supply of qualitative mattress.

At Damban, the Governor said the Model School in the area is among the three model schools currently embarked upon his administration in collaboration with African Development Bank.

He informed Dagauda community that his administration has constructed 1120 boreholes in the state out of which 143 to be installed in Dambam.

While at Itas Gadau, Governor Bala appreciated the support of the people of the Local Government to his emergence as the Governor of Bauchi, promising to provide them with basic social aminities.

He said road and healthcare centre will be provided to them in order to assist them to improve their economic status.

Governor Bala in all the areas visited expressed gratitude to the people of the areas for their support, understanding and prayers to his administration and called for it sustenance.

The Emir of Misau, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ahmed Sulaiman and other traditional leaders thanked Governor Bala for his developmental projects for the benefit of the entire people of the State.
