Governor Bala bags best Governor of the year Award, another Award of honour from civil society group

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has today received the two accolades awarded to him by some NGOs.

Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Senator Baba Tela presented the “Eagle Crime Stopper Grand Security Ambassador” to the Governor.

Senator Baba Tela said the Eagle Crime Awareness and Prevention Initiative honoured Governor Bala with the ambassadorial award while he was on a working visit to Abuja in recognition to his leadership style in line with corporate and good governance with huge investment in human capital development among others.

The Chief of Staff, Government House Bauchi, Dr Ladan Salihu presented to the Governor his Award of Excellence as the Best Governor of the Year on Fastest Growing Economy for the year 2020 by the management and Board of Editors of the Business-Day Newspaper.

Receiving the awards, Governor Bala said the award for security Ambassador will go along way in encouraging him to do more especially in providing required facilities for the protection of lives and properties of the citizens.

The Governor said the economic award will motivate him to build an institutions that will assist in providing required governance in the State.
