Governor Bagudu condoles with Makwashi family over death of Barrister Murna

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State on Monday expressed sadness over the unfortunate death of the former Chairperson of Shanga Local Government Area, Barrister Murna Makwashi.

The Governor accompanied by the Chief of Staff Government House Birnin Kebbi , Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu (Jarman Kabi), the Secretary to the State Government, Babale Umar Yauri and the Hon. Commissioner for Special Duties, Barrister Attahiru Maccido were at the residence of the deceased in Gesse Phase 2 to condole with the family, relatives and friends of late Murna Makwashi.

Bagudu described the demise of Barrister Murna Makwashi as shocking and prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Barrister Murna Makwashi died at the age of 68 on Sunday after a protracted illness at the Usmanu Dan Fodio Teaching Hospital, Sokoto.

The deceased, late Murna Makwashi also worked with the Due Process office, Birnin Kebbi, Law Reform Commission, Abuja and Kebbi State Judiciary.
