Gov. Ishaku’s 5.3 Million Litre water tank project adjudged as Master piece

Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has led host of Bishops to the Jalingo mountain site for the 5.3 million litter water tank work where it was adjudged as a master piece by a famous Bishop of the Anglican Church Kaduna a former Taraba state CAN Chairman.

The Jalingo water reservoir is an initiative of Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku and this came as a result of the so many water scarcity and challenges that has hits the State Capital and its environs. Speaking briefly about the touristic site the Governor disclosed that the site will not only be a reservoir for water supply in the state but also a tourist attraction where guest from all over the world will be hosted for various activities such as eatery, Meetings, family outings, VVIP sittings, indoors exercise etc.

He disclosed that when the project is completed it will be a place to be hold and a site for relaxation and will as well serve as the point for pumping down water with maximum speed into the state capital. He said the tank at its present point is sitting on a 15 story building and can imagine the speed and pressure that will be exerted on water released from such point.

Bishop Timothy Yahaya who was marveled at the master piece edifice confessed to have not set an eye on such anywhere around, Yahaya said this was an assignment to the nation and a project that will attract the nation and Africa especially for touristic purposes.

While praying for the Governor for more resources and enablement to complete the projects, Bishop Yahaya applauded the professionality of the Governor for putting up such a piece in the heart of the state Capital acknowledging that it will no doubt boost the IGR of the state.
