Gov. Idris assures Fakon Sarki residents of provision of potable water

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu has assured the people of Fakon Sarki community of Augie Local Government Area of provision of potable water.

Gov. Idris gave the assurance on Wednesday when he made a stop-over at the community on his way back to Birnin Kebbi, the State Capital from an official engagement in Owerri, Imo State and Abuja, respectively.

The Governor interacted with the members of the community to find out some of the challenges they were facing.

They complained to him about the perennial scarcity of drinking water as their major concern.

The Governor assured them of his readiness to tackle the problem immediately .

He immediately directed for the sinking of a new borehole in the community and provided instant financial assistance to the youths to boost their businesses.

They commended the governor for his benevolence and prayed for his success in steering the affairs of the State in the next eight years.

In another development, Governor Nasir Idris has pledged the commitment of his administration to renovate the Central Motor park in Birnin Kebbi.

The Governor made the pledge when he visited the motor park with top government functionaries.
