Gov. Bagudu commiserates with FUBK students over fire incident

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, CON has commiserated with the female students of the College of Health Sciences, Federal University Birnin Kebbi,over a fire incident which occured on Tuesday.

The Governor, who was on a sympathy visit to the institution on Thursday was conducted round the affected female hostel by Dr.Nasir Muhammad, Deputy Provost of the College.

Bagudu, while addressing the students sympathized with them over the incident and prayed Allah to avert the recurrence of the incident.

The governor promised to send a committee to assess the situation with a view to assisting the students to cushion their losses.

One of the victims, Amina Aliyu Alhassan said the fire gutted all their properties including their laptop computers, thereby making it difficult for them to do online studies and researches .

The fire, according to her, started while they were in their classes having lectures.

She appealed to the governor for an urgent assistance, saying that they had lost all their belongings to the tragic inferno.
