Gov Bagudu bags another award in Agriculture and Food Security

President Muhammadu Buhari with smiles this Friday presented Public Service award to his Vice Chairman, National Food Security Council, Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for his monumental achievement on agricultural revolution leading to food surplus in Nigeria.

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu walked to the podium with dignity as the Master of the Ceremony showered praises on him to announce the award on (Agriculture and Food Security) for the turn-around achievement on improving agricultural production that paved way to attaining food security in the country.

In addition to his position as the Vice Chairman, National Food Security Council, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu is also the Chairman Presidential Taskforce on Rice and Wheat Production in Nigeria.

Recently, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was honored by President Muhammadu Buhari with the National Merit Award of Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON for his remarkable performance in governance.

Among those who received the Public Service Award this Friday was the former President Good luck Ebele Jonathan who responded with appreciation on behalf of the awardees.
