A former Deputy Inspector of Police (DIG), Aminchi Samuel Baraya has threatened to take legal action against the immediate past Vice-Chancellor of the Taraba State University, Prof. Vincent Ado Tenebe over an allegation of having an affair with the mother of his two children, Mrs. Comfort Baraya.

The retired DIG while briefing journalists in Jalingo, Taraba State capital said he started suspecting his wife of infidelity with Tenebe when she received a call on one faithful night at around 10 pm and lied to him that it was a lady that called her while it was Tenebe.

“That day when we went to bed at about 10:30 pm a call came in and she answered, and when I asked her she told. Me it was one lady that called her but when I collected the phone I realized that it was Tenebe that called her and when I asked her why did she had lied to me, she said because she did not know-how my reaction will be.

” So, I was able to intercept some romantic exchanged text messages between the two of them as you can see them all here, and when I called our children where we started interrogating her she confessed that she only slept with Tenebe twice. According to her their first meeting was here in jalingo and the second time was in Yola, Adamawa State.

“When I called Tenebe on the phone and asked him that you called my wife late at night what happened? he replied that yes he missed her call that was why he called back, and I asked him again what time did she called you? He was like he doesn’t know which I asked him to check his call records and he said at around 12 midnight, so I asked him since morning you did not return her call until we went to bed? If it is your wife someone called her at that hour, how will you feel?

” So, I told him that I have seen all their conversations through text messages and my wife has confessed to us that they have been committing adultery and for that am going to take them to court after gathering all the evidence and off my phone.

“Right now I also have some videos clips that shows my wife and Tenebe in a nude condition and I have already briefed my lawyer about the matter, so when everything is set we will prosecute them before the court of law because it is a criminal offense. I also informed our Pastor who married us in church.

When contacted through a telephone, Mrs. Comfort Baraya who did not deny the allegation leveled against her by her husband told our Correspondent that ” he should go ahead and do whatever he feels like because me I don’t have anything to say more than this, let him continue.”

Also in a telephone conversation, Prof. Vincent Ado Tenebe who was accused of dating Mrs. Barbara did not deny the allegation but said ” let us meet in the court, am waiting for him. Just because when she came with her members of the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) to my office when I was the VC of TSU I assisted them and it turns into something else? Tenebe added.
