Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state has again demonstrated resolve to sustain agricultural revival of his administration for economic prosperity and food security.
The governor made this known this Saturday in Unguwar Jaga Argungu Local Government in an interaction with farmers to inquire about the outcome of current wet-season farming.
Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was happy about the bumper harvest recorded in variety of crops in the state.
He was emphatic that the state government would continue to supply farmers with the desired agricultural input for both wet and dry season cultivation.
Some youths and women who spoke to the Governor, commended him for his fatherly care to communities and making a stopover in their village.
They informed him about their intention to embark on dry-season farming to cultivate paddy rice, food and cash crops.
Earlier in Sokoto, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu visited the resident of Professor B.G Danshehu of Usman Danfodiyo University Sokoto to rejoice with him on the wedding fatiha of his son and daughter, Anas and Fatima at Arkilla area.
Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu prayed Allah to bless the couples with good offsprings, guidance to the nation’s citizens.
Professor B.G Danshehu thanked the Governor for his fraternal visit, praying Allah to reward him abundantly.
