FOMWAN Elects New EXCO For Bauchi Local Government

The Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria FOMWAN Bauchi Local Government Chapter has elected it new officials to run the affairs of the union for the next four years

Those selected include Muyibat Sadiq as Ameera, Hadiza Yahaya Deputy Ameera, Khadija Ladan Secretary, Hassana Isah PRO, Sadiya Mamman Treasurer and Na’ilatu Garba as Financial Secretary.

Others are Amina Inuwa Auditor, Rashida Mamman Assistant Secretary, Hafsat Aliyu Assistant PRO, Sadiya Abubakar Head of Da’awah as well as Amina Umar Hassan as School Chairperson.

Inaugurating the new officials, the State Chairperson Aishatu Ibrahim Kilishi charged them to prioritize on the five major components of the association’s activities to include healthcare services provision, education, community development, house to house mobilization as well as propagation of Islam.

Aishatu Kilishi who also urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them maintained that FOMWAN was established to champion the course of promoting Islam through hard-working and dedication.

Speaking on behalf of the newly elected officials, the Chairperson Bauchi Local Government Chapter Muyibat Sadiq who expressed appreciation for the opportunity given them, pledged to worked inline with the established principles for the development of the association.

She however called for the support and cooperation from members and other relevant stakeholders to enable them succeed
