Focus on party challenges, not divide and rule – Forum tells PDP Stakeholders

The People Democratic Party (PDP) Unity Forum has challenged stakeholder Of the party to focus on the party’s progress rather than dividing members for selfishness.

Chairman of the forum Barrister Yusuf Sambo who stated this at the forum meeting held in Zaria at the weekend, said time has passed for political division as it used to be in the fast where leaders create division from Mr. A, B D R cocks.

Barrister Sambo further said, the Unity Forum has come to stay with no bias or stakeholders influence instead anyone that feels he is good enough should come and contest any position he want to vie for.

According to him, the PDP Unity Forum will henthforth choose the best person that will win during elections so that they can throw their support to him.

He warned that politicians who hide until election period before they show up should start counting themselves out of any elective positions and leave the politicians with vision and mission as well with PDP in their heart to pilot the Party’s affairs for good.

Barrister Sambo who contested for Zaria Local Government Chairman under the PDP in the last Local Government election said, he will leave no stone unturned in changing the political drive.

Earlier in his remarks the Forum Coordinator Alhaji Aliyu Samaila commended members for their doggedness during last Local Government election that led PDP to victory but it was robbed.

Samaila urged them to remain resolute in taking their party to victory at all times without any fair.

The coordinator maintained their position to reject any politician that would undermine their efforts in trying to change the old fashion politics.

Also in her remarks, Rahama Abdullahi Yarima said very soon women will take over politics from men as they are the warriors during elections.

She appealed to women not to relent on their commitment in making PDP a leading party not in Zaria but the whole country at large.
