FLOOD: Bauchi Governor reconstructs collapsed Ningi-Kano bridge

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has fulfilled his promise of construction a passage to Ningi-Kano collapsed bridge within a week.

It could be recalled that the Governor during an assessment visit to the scene promised a quick and qualitative intervention considering the importance of the road to the economy of the State.

The Ningi-Kano bridge which links the North Eastern states with the North Western part of the country had collapsed some days ago as a result of downpour.

According to Governor Bala his administration will continue to provide the citizens with infrastructure for socioeconomic development of Bauchi State.

While calling on the Federal Government to assist the State Government in renovating other bridges, the Governor urged the citizens of the state to support his administration in it’s effort to curbing erosion and deforestation adding that such is collective responsibility.
