FAWOYDI trains Bauchi CBOs on organisational structure and development

Community based organizations in bauchi have been challenged to always adhere to their organisational ethics and core values in order to attract grant from international donor.

This is part of the reason for a four day training on organisational effectiveness and board governance for 12 CBOs across Azare, Gamawa and bauchi local government areas.

The exercise was organised by Fahimta Women and Youth Development Initiative (FAWOYDY) in collaboration with Actionaid Nigeria (WVL project).

In her remarks, the ED, of fahimta, hajiya Maryam Garba while welcoming the participants advise them to avail themselves with this golden opportunity in other to ensure effective service delivery in their
respective organizations.

Hajiya Maryam Garba however explain that, the training will no doubt exposed them to be better managers for organisational sustainability.

“The training will also build the capacity of the community based organizations to carry out the obligations and compliance to statutory regulations.” The ED maintained.

Our reporter reveal that, in an interview with some of the participants, they commended fahimta and Actionaid for the opportunity given to them and promised to make good use of the knowledge acquired during the training.
