The member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal constituency in Delta state, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Godwin Elumelu has donated four automatic wheelchairs to four physically challenged people in his constituency.
Elumelu who was minority leader of the House of Representatives also donated 500kva Transformer to the people of Akwuofu community in Oshimili South local government area of Delta to replace their 500kva broken down transformer which was reported to his office two weeks ago.
While presenting the wheelchairs at his constituency office in Asaba, Hon. Elumelu said, promised to continue to provide amenities to his constituency.
Represented by a member representing Aniocha South constituency in the state House of Assembly, Hon Augustine Chikezie said that it has become a lifestyle of Hon Elumelu in ensuring that those with disabilities are not left out in the scheme of things in his effective representation.
Hon Chikezie said that the gesture was necessitated by barely one month of encounter between Elumelu and some persons with physically challenges.
Seeing their struggle and energy being exhausted on a daily basis using the manual wheelchairs to go about their daily business.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr Austine Juwe from Obomkpa commended the gesture of the federal lawmaker, and prayed for his success in political journey.
Other Beneficiaries include, Miss Philomina Kowean from oshimili south, Miss Anthonia Onwueme Chiamaka From Ezi Aniocha north And Mr Onwueme Ozoemenem from Ejeme-Aniogor Aniocha South LGA.
Present at the event included, former PDP Chairman Aniocha South, Hon Joe Adigwe, Hon Bar, Tony Okeibunor DG of Elumelu Campaign Organisation, Ms Bridget Modebe, Mr Chiedu Tugwa.
