Eid Kabir Palliative: Bauchi Government Received 23,400 Bags of Grains, Launched 70 Rams And Cows Distribution.

Bauchi state Government has flagged off the distribution of Over 23,000 Bags of Assorted Grains donated by the Federal Government as another Phase of Palliative to the Citizens.

It also Launched the distribution of 20 cows as well as 50 Rams as the state Sallah package to Religion Organization Reputable Ulamas as well as other Individuals and Group.

Speaking during the Flagging off ceremony, Governor Bala Mohammed noted that the state government is committed to ensuring that the distribution process of the palliative is conducted with utmost transparency, as monitoring committee has been set up to supervise the exercise.

The Governor was Represented by The Commissioner, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management Hajara Yakubu Wanka Explained that the Distribution is in collaboration with Federal Government’s Aid Agencies such as The National Emergency Management Agency NEMA.

The governor therefore, announced plans for the palliative to cover all the needed beneficiaries and tasked entire Muslim ummah in the state to use the Eid kabir period to pray for leaders on the current economic crises as his administration is ready to participate in finding lasting solutions to the challenges facing the state and the country in general.

In a Remark While handing over The Grains, The Director General National Emergency Management Agency NEMA Who was represented by the Assistant Director, Zonal office Maiduguri Mr. Yakubu Sulaiman announced that President Bola Ahmad Tinubu has directed for release of Hundred Thousands of Metric tonnes to bring a soccour to the people.

According to him President Tinubu is not unmindful of the Economic downturn in the Country and His administration is taking Viable Measures to arrest the Situation.

Our Correspondent Mubarak Aliyu Kobi Reports that Items distributed include 9,200 bags of Maize, 3,800 bags of Sorghum, 10,400 Bags of Millet.
