EID-EL-FITR: Bauchi Speaker felicitates with Muslims, implores them to sustain devotion to God

The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman has felicitated with Muslims on this year’s eid-el-fitr celebration.

In a Sallah message to all Muslims, the Speaker also congratulated the Muslims for the successful completion of Ramadan fasting, praying that all the acts of worship and supplications offered would be accepted by the Almighty Allah.

Speaker Abubakar Y Suleiman who performed his two raka’at eid-el-fitr prayer at Ningi Central Eid Ground, commended the Muslim community for their fervent prayers to the State and the Country and the time devoted to preach the words of the Almighty Allah, peace, brotherhood and unity.

While assuring the commitment of the Bauchi State House of Assembly toward the development and the wellbeing of the people of the State, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Suleiman commended the Executive Governor of Bauchi State Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad for his uncommon patriotism in steering the affairs of the State through various people-oriented policies and programmes and urged the people of the State to continue praying and supporting him.

He also enjoined Muslims to sustain their devotion to Almighty Allah as they did during the month of Ramadan and uphold the virtues of the holy month.
