EID-EL-FITR: Bauchi Speaker felicitates with Muslims, calls for sustained love, forgiveness

Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly and Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria Abubakar Y Suleiman felicitates with Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-el-fitr.

In a Sallah Message to all people of Bauchi State and Nigeria at large, the Speaker also congratulates Muslims for the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan Fasting and prays to Almighty Allah to accept all forms of worship and supplications performed in the blessed month.

He enjoins Muslims to sustain the spirit of unity, brotherhood, love, forgiveness and prayers which were hallmark of the month of Ramadan.

According to him, Nigeria needs sustained unity, love and fervent prayers from all Nigerians so that many problems bedeviling the Country, especially insecurity, inflation, economic problems and corruption would be things of the past.

“2023 general election is also coming closer, this is important time in the life of our Country. We should make sure we register for voter card and participate fully in the electioneering process.

“We should show spirit of patriotism and integrity so that the election would not be only peaceful, free, fair and credible but produce the best set of leaders for Nigeria who have the wherewithal to take us out of the woods.” He said.

The Speaker who commended the laudable leadership of the Executive Governor of Bauchi State Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad, urges the people of the State to continue praying and supporting him so that the good governance being witnessed in the State will continue to flourish.

He pledges the continued commitment and patriotism of the 9th Assembly of Bauchi State under his leadership in positively touching the lives of the people of all the 31 Constituencies of the State, through purposeful legislation, quality representation and strict oversight.
