COVID-19: NOA urges corps members, staff, vendors and camp community to stick to safely protocols in the NYSC orientation camp

National Orientation Agency NOA Bauchi State has called on Corps members, Staff, Vendors and camp Community to take safety protocols more seriously to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the orientation camp and various places of primary assignment.

The State Director NOA Bauchi Alhaji Nuru Yusuf Kobi made the call at a lecture organised by the State Communication Team for COVID-19 prevention at NYSC Orientation Camp at Wailo.

Alhaji Nuru Kobi said the call became imperative with some countries already experiencing the second wave of the pandemic.

He explained that everybody has a stake and should take responsibility to ensure safety and secure the environment.

The NOA State Director said the team will establish a pressure group to promote COVID-19 safety protocols, compliance and behavioural changes among corps members and the host communities.

According to Nuru Kobi the lecture was aimed at preparing the corps members on Community Engagement as well as training them on basic risk Communication activities to support ongoing efforts in the community for Covid-19 prevention after their orientation camp.
