Covid 19: NDE To Train Nigerian Youth On Various Skills Acquisition.

As part of efforts to cushion the effect of Corona Virus Pandemic, the National Directorate of Employment is to train Nigerians on various skills acquisitions with a view to improve their economic status crippled as a result of Covid- 19 pandemic.

The Director General of the Directorate ,Dr Nasiru Muhd Aragungu stated this at the Covid-19 Mitigation Training on Spices Production held at Alhayyat Restaurant Bauchi.

Represented by Bauchi State Director Aliyu Lawal Yaya, the DG said the purpose of embarking on the training is to equip the beneficiaries with modern techniques of Spices Production which according to him would rebrand their economic status.

Dr. Nasiru Aragungu said, the training was the second phase which selected fifty women in all states of the federation to benefit from the program.

He therefore used the medium to Called on participants to make good of opportunity given to them for their benefit and that of the society.

Some of the participants interviewed expressed their happiness and promised to utilise the opportunity.
