Corp member donate medical kits to Turai Yaradua Hospital in katsina

A serving corp member in Katsina State has distributed 100 set of medical kits for delivery to Turai Yardua Maternity and Children Hospital in the State.

The Corp Member, Pharm. Zainab Abubakar Gada who made the donation as part of her Community Development Service said it was paramount for her to do such looking at the unstable situations of the nursing mothers in the state that cannot provide themselves with the delivery kits.

Zainab who is serving in the State Government House Clinic took it to herself to do the gesture outside her Place of Primary Assignment.

She therefore urged the hospital management to used the items judiciously for the required patients and promised to do more in that regards, Zainab expressed.

Receiving the Delivery Kits on behalf of Katsina State and the hospital management, the Commissioner of Health Through the Head of Department Pharmacy Engr. Yakubu Nuhu Danja said this is the first time they received such free kits from a corp member.

Yakubu Danja, thanked her and promised to be fair while giving it to the patients especially those who are financially unstable and cannot cater for themselves.

He then, tasked government agencies, ngos and well do to individuals to emulate the good gesture done in order to ease others sufferings all round katsina and beyond.

To this, the event had in attendance, NYSC officials, Katsina Emirate Council Representatives, Ministry of Health Staff and host of others.
