CONSENSUS: Gov. Bala Mohammed has the quality to vail Nigeria out – Ladan Salihu

A former chief of staff to governor Bala Mohammed and Bauchi south senatorial Aspirant Dr. Ladan Salihu has hailed the nothern elders forum for endorsing Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed as consensus candidate.

Dr. Ladan Salihu in a press conference at the Nigerian Union of Journalist Secretariat Bauchi says he is throwing his weight on his principal Governor Bala Mohammed.

According to Ladan Salihu, the emergence of the governor alongside former Senate president Bukola Saraki did not come as a surprise because of his anticident, capacity, quality and exemplary leadership style.

He added that Governor Bala Mohammed has proven to be trusted who among other aspirants, has the qualities to bail Nigeria out of the present predicament characterised by economic poverty, insecurity and bad leadership.

While applauding the process that led to the endorsement by northern elders headed by professor Ango Abdullahi, Ladan Salihu called on critics who are against the endorsement to reconsider and accept it in good fate.

Ladan Salihu also advocated for power shift to the Northeast saying the PDP had only two years in in power from the PDP out of the sixteen years it held power.

While believing in the aspirations of his principal, the former chief of staff called on the People’s Democratic Party PDP to support Bala Mohammed for equity and Justice.
