Warmly congratulating the Governor, the CLA PG said, ” We expected it this way because we believed that God is on our side and the Governor enjoyed the mandate of the people for him to rule again as shown by the Supreme Court Rulling”.

Chief Matthew A. Osochukwu believes that the support of the Community Leaders Association comprising 28 different states across the state, and that of other well meaning individuals secured the Governor’s victory at the 2023 Gubernatorial polls as vindicated by the Supreme court judgement.

Expressing joy for the victory after election and at Supreme Court too, the CLA PG said,

“We are happy he even made a promise to consider us with political appointment, which I believe he will do because he even attested that he never knew we have such numerical strength in Bauchi when some of our members visited him before the election”.

“What we now want to do is to carry the goodnews of his good work to our members extracted from 28 different states scattered all over the state and use the same numerical strength and more to support him for 2027 Presidential race if he chooses to run;

” We don’t even need to mince words, the Executive Governor of Bauchi state is now an outstanding candidate for 2027 because of the amazing ways he handled and still handling the affairs of the state deserve a higher space to display the dexeterity in leadership”, he said.

Chief Osochukwu argued that the work Governor Bala Mohammed did in the first tenure spoke for and made him win in the second tenure adding that even business men are happy with his leadership style.

According to him, most products and materials for building and different companies can now be processed and purchased here in Bauchi state because of the conducive environment created by the Governor.

He insisted that the Governor has demonstrated that he is capable to be the number one citizen of this country and CLA will give him necessary support in 2027 if he shows interest.
