Bauchi State house of assembly has been call upon to come up with legislation that will guarantees Child right act.
Minister of women affairs Pauline Tallen made the call when she visited Bauchi state house of assembly.
Pauline Tallen says the aims of the visit is to thank the member of the state assembly for passing the law to prohibit all forms of violence against persons.
The minister commended the honourable house for timely passes the VAPP in to law.
Pauline disclosed that president Muhammadu Buhari and his wife Aisha Buhari Acknowledged the effort of the house members been the first house of assembly in the north east to pass the law.
She call on the house to make legislation that will ensure speedy passage of child right act.
In his remark the speaker Bauchi State house of assembly Abubakar Suleiman says the house will work with critical stakeholders in ensuring the seem less demarcating of child right act.
Abubakar Suleiman appreciate the August visitors and promise to support the campaign for Girl Child Education.
The minister was accompanied by Bauchi state first lady, wife of Deputy Governor among others.
