BUDGET: Why Governor Bala initiated over 42 billion naira 2020 supplementary budget

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has emerged as the only Governor in Nigeria to initiate supplementary budget in the year 2020.

The governor initiated the budget with much priority on developmental projects to be awarded and will commence before the end of this year.

The roads project captured in the over 42 billion Naira supplementary budget under the proposed Bauchi Urban Renewal Project, is part of the desire of the administration of Kauran Bauchi to modernize Bauchi State.

The proposed road projects are; Adamu Jumba Road expansion, dualization of Sam Njoma Road, dualization of ATBU Main Campus to Airforce Base Bauchi, down to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport.

Others are dualization of Maiduguri Road from Awalah Roundabout to Bauchi State University, Yuli Campus to Rice Mill, dualization of Gombe Road from Bauchi State House of Assembly junction.

While rural roads across the 3 senatorial districts of the state also captured are, Itas Gadau Road, Warji to Gwaram, Nasaru to Balma, Soro to Miya, Bogoro to Lusa, Boi to Tapshin, Kirfi to Gombe Abba and Yashi to Yuli.
