Bauchi Emirate Council has suspended the former Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, as Jakadan Bauchi.

Addressing members of the press at the palace of the Emir of Bauchi, the Galadiman Bauchi and District Head of Zungur, Surveyor Ibrahim Sa’idu Jahun, said the decision to suspend Yakubu Dogara as the traditional title holder of Jakadan Bauchi, was taken following the recent attack on the emirs of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu suleimanu Adamu, and that of Dass, Alhaji Usman Biliyaminu Usman, on their way to Bogoro to attend late Baba Gonto 21st memorial anniversary in Tafawa Balewa.

Surveyor Jahun said, the council expressed dismay that Yakubu Dogara, as one of the sons of the area and traditional title holder, was mentioned as the one misleading the people and perpetrating the incidence.
