Be Value re-orientated in terms of Patriotism, religious tolerance and self reliance – NOA urges Corps Members

Members of the 2023 batch A stream 2 Corps Members have been advised to be value re-oriented by being patriotism, integrity, discipline, religious tolerance, and self-reliance.

The Public relations officer National Orientation Agency NOA Mrs. Larai Saminu Nazo made the ascertain while presenting a paper on Value re-orientation to Corps Members at NYSC Orientation Camp Dakin Gari, Kebbi State.

Larai Saminu said value re-orientation is an act of adjusting, aligning, or re-aligning by changing the moral character for better through the renewal.

She explained that value re-orientation of Nigerians will help in bringing significant development in the areas of corruption, indiscipline, immorality, terrorism, kidnapping, cultism, political thuggery, gender-based Violence, and other social vices.

Mrs. Saminu said the vision of the National Orientation Agency NOA is to develop a Nigerian society that is orderly, responsible, and discipline where citizens demonstrate values and honesty, hard work, patriotism and ensure peace and harmony reign.

According to her, other functions of the NOA are to enlighten the general public on government policies, programs, and activities, mobilization of favorable public opinion and support government policies.

Mrs. Larai Saminu Nazo therefore appeals to Corps Members to embrace the core values inherent in National Orientation to ensure enduring peace and cohesive progress for Nigeria.
