Bauchi State Government says its working round the clock with developmental partners to eradicate poverty and hunger among the citizenry in the state.
The State Deputy Governor, Muhammad Auwal Jatau made the statement while inaugurating three committees on Ease of Doing Business, Implementing my Bauchi Projects and technical committee on Nutrition.
He said the communities will fast track the development of livelihood in the state towards eradicating poverty and malnutrition.
Jatau observed that the committees would focused on social welfare, agriculture, reducing poverty among others.
He said Bauchi State is one of the performing states in sub national ease of doing business ranking among the thirty six states including the FCT.
Jatau added that the state government is working tirelessly to improve the economic status of small and medium entrepreneurs and implementing polices that provides jobs opportunities to the teeming youths.
He charged members of the Committees to discharge their responsibilities effectively for generating revenue to the state.
Earlier specking, The State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Aminu Hammayo represented by the permanent secretary, Mallam Saleh Idris Giade said the inaugurations of the state council on Ease of Doing Business and other Committees signified the effort of Bauchi state government towards economic architecture.
