Bauchi State to Develop State Anthem and Logo to Promote Patriotism, Directs Immediate Sale of Fertilizer

The Bauchi State Government has announced plans to develop a state anthem and logo, aimed at promoting patriotism and restoring the state’s lost glory in tourism and culture.

According to the Commissioner of Information and Communication, Usman Shehu Usman, the state anthem and logo will help inculcate a sense of pride and belonging among citizens, serving as symbols of unity and identity for the people of Bauchi State.

The Commissioner noted that the state anthem and logo will be designed to reflect the state’s values, culture, and history, making them a unique representation of Bauchi’s identity.

In a related development, the Bauchi State Government has announced plans to address land encroachment at the Lame Bura Game Reserve, citing security concerns arising from the encroachment, which has turned the reserve into a hideout for criminals.

Furthermore, the government has directed the Ministry of Agriculture to commence the sales of fertilizers at a subsidized rate of N20,000, aiming to boost agricultural productivity and support farmers struggling with high production costs.

Additionally, the Bauchi State Government has ratified ongoing gully erosion control projects in Bauchi, Kirfi, and Alkaleri Local Government Areas.

According to the commissioner Ministry of Housing and Environment ĆŠallami kawule, these projects are part of the government’s efforts to address environmental challenges and promote sustainable development in the state.

The government’s initiatives are part of its commitment to delivering dividends of democracy to the people and ensuring their well-being.
