Bauchi State Government Spreads Christmas Cheer with Food Distribution

The Bauchi State Government has approved the purchase and distribution of food items worth millions of naira to Christian communities across the state as part of efforts to support the Christmas celebration.

 

The Chairman of the Standing Committee for the Distribution of the Items, Mr. Abdon Dalla Gin, while while addressing journalists in Bauchi said development reflects the government’s commitment to fostering inclusivity among diverse religious groups in the state.

 

Abdon Dalla Gin revealed that the distributed items include 77 bulls, 139 rams, over 1,500 bags of rice, and 178 jerricans of vegetable oil.

 

He commended Governor Bala Mohammed for the kind gesture and urged Christian faithful to reciprocate by supporting the policies and programs of his administration.

 

According to him, chairmen of the twenty local government areas in the state are complementing the initiative by providing additional assistance to Christians in their respective domains.

 

Mr. Gin called on Christians to use the occasion of the Christmas and New Year celebrations to pray for the continued success of the Governor Bala Mohammed-led administration and the overall progress of Bauchi State.
