Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Mohammed has appealed to the good people of Bauchi State to come out in large numbers to welcome dignitaries and potential investors who will be attending the forthcoming Bauchi Economic and Investment Summit.

The Governor said their support and warm reception will go a long way in projecting the state’s image positively to the world.

Speaking shortly after inspecting key facilities, Governor Bala Mohammed expressed satisfaction with the level of work done at various strategic locations.

He emphasized that Bauchi State is fully prepared and ready to host the world during the two-day summit scheduled for the 8th and 9th of October, 2025.

The Governor, accompanied by top government officials, visited the International Conference Center Bauchi — the main venue of the event — where he personally moved hall by hall and section by section to assess the finishing touches ahead of the summit.

Governor Bala Mohammed also inspected the newly remodelled and rehabilitated Wikki Government Lodge, among other facilities, to ensure that everything is in top shape to receive guests and investors from across Nigeria and beyond.

The Bauchi Economic and Investment Summit is expected to attract major local and international stakeholders, government officials, business leaders, and development partners, with the aim of showcasing investment opportunities and boosting economic growth in the state.
