Bauchi NUJ lauds the performance of Governor’s Press Crew

Bauchi state Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalist NUJ has commended the tireless effort of the Bauchi Government house press crew towards promoting the policies and programs of the present administration.

The chairman of the NUJ Bauchi state Council Comrade Umar Sa’idu made the commendation during a Courtesy visit to the Government house press crew held at the Press Gallery Government house.

Comrade Umar Sa’idu said the essence of the visit was to thank the Government house press crew for the support to the council before, during and after election which was conducted last year and also to seek for their advises.

While describe journalist as the Fourth estate of the rhyme, charge the members of the NUJ to work within the ambit of the Law in order to move the journalism profession forward.

The Chairman said, the council is committed to organizing capacity building training to boost the performance of its members.

Responding on behalf of the Government house press crew, the Vice Chairman of the Crew Isyaka Isma’il Wunti commended the state council of NUJ for the visit, while promising to work in synergy with a view to ensure sanity in the journalism profession.

Isyaka Wunti also appealed to the council to considered selection of the crew members for training with a view boost their capacity.

Our correspondence Sani Adamu Hassan learned that the state council of the NUJ paid similar visit to some chapels of the media organization in the state.
