Bauchi govt lauds its social media activists over wonderful performance.

Bauchi state government has applauded the efforts of various social media activists towards promoting its policies and programs.

The Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Lawal Muazu Bauchi, made the commendation at a one day seminar organized by his office for bloggers and promoters Kaura administration on social media, held at Zaranda Hotel Bauchi.

Lawal Muazu Bauchi said the program was to further educate the participants on how to use the social media platforms accordingly to disseminate the activities of the present administration in the state.

The SA, who said that the state government is committed to empowering the social media activists, added that his office will continue to organize such a seminar for effective promotion of Kaura’s administration on social media.


In their presentations, the resource persons Abdul Ahmad Burra, Tasi’u Hassan and Muhammad kabir Isa, noted that social media platforms remain the major tools of sharing information to larger audience within short period of time, hence the need for the participants to properly use them in reaching out to the masses.

They equally commended Lawal Muazu Bauchi for initiating such a seminar, describing it as timely .

The deputy Speaker, Bauchi state House of Assembly, Danlami Ahmad Kawule, state Commissioner of Information and Communications, Dayyabu Chiroma, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Muktar Gidado, represented by Director press Government House, Alhaji Alhassan Usman Suleiman attended the event.

The seminar was tagged, “Use of social media for Promotion of government policies and Critic Response”.
