Bauchi Governorship: Bauchi North senotorial zone took a stand

Constituents from Bauchi north senotorial zone who supported the candidature of Halliru Dauda Jika in the just concluded All Progressives Congress party Governorship primary election has unanimously agreed to fit their tent where ever their candidate will contest for Governorship come 2023 in Bauchi state.

The peoples took the decision during a town hall meeting held at Azare, Katagum local government of Bauchi State, the meeting has the “theme way forward.”

The APC members who are loyal and supporters of senotor representing Bauchi central in the house of senate condemned in strong term, the party Governorship primary election which they described as deceitful and mischief making by some people who are in the party to actualize their agenda.

Speaking, Bashir Abubakar from Katagum said they have resolved to make their stand known to senotor Jika to consider their demands to look into cross-carpeting to any political party they are ever ready to join him in his quest to meet his aspirations, saying leadership is all about character and capacity which Jika has possessed.

Bashir added; as a Jika’s campaign coordinator from Azare he received no fewer than one hundred and fifty text messages from across six local government areas of Bauchi north calling on Senator Dauda Jika to leave APC in order to redeem their hope of salvaging the Bauchi state from present situations of poverty and underdevelopment.

Corroborating on the part of women folks Hajiya Hadiza Giade said as a seasoned politician throughout her live she is bold enough to challenge any injustice saying as result of joining Dauda Jika campaign team some APC excos has deny her right in party noting that women in Bauchi nort have promised to be with Jika in any political party.

While commenting, Mohammed Babaji Katagum said the essence of organizing the town hall consultative meeting in three senotorial zone of Bauchi State is to get first hand reports from people before arriving at any decision.

Babaji Katagum said at the end of the meeting suggestions and deliberation will be channeling to Senator Dauda jika for any action.

The meeting is held following the outcome of APC Governorship primary election which does not favor some contestants including Senator Halliru Jika.
