BAUCHI: Governor Bala partners COREN on infrastructural development.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi state today recieved National officials of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) for a crucial discussion at the Council Chamber, Government House Bauchi.

The Governor who welcomed the visitors to the state, assured them of continued partnership to improve and strengthen government’s capacity on infrastructural delivery.

He said described their visit to the state as timely, saying his administration has since embarked on execution of developmental projects in critical sectors.

Governor Bala informed the officials that his administration is executing developmental projects in accordance with procurement act and in line with International best practice of engineering.

The National President of the Council, Engineer Aliyu Rabiu said the visit was to intimate the Governor on the some of the mandates of the council for more efficiency.

The President commended the governor on infrastructural development and requested him to set up technical committee on engineering in the state.

Governor Bala during the meeting nominated Chairman of Due Process, officials of the State Ministries of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and that of Works and Transport as well as the State Development Board to serve in the technical committee as representatives of the state government.
