Bauchi: Governor Bala Congratulates new NUBASS officials

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir has received in audience, the newly elected officials of the National Union of Bauchi State Students (NUBASS) on a courtesy visit today at Government House, Bauchi.

Congratulating the new officials on their victory, Governor Bala promised them a support to succeed in discharging assigned responsibilities.

He said his administration has since embarked on assisting students through scholarship in an effort to revive the educational sector in the state.

He assured the NUBASS that his administration is determined to providing conducive environment to Bauchi State youths to enable them contribute to the growth and development of the state.

Governor Bala said security arrangements have been in schools across the state apart among other programmes aimed at promoting the sector.

Earlier, the newly elected NUBASS President, Comrade Mahmud Abubakar said they were at the Government House to appreciate the Governor for his concern on the welfare of students.

The President thanked Governor Bala for approving the payment of outstanding scholarship of Bauchi State students, describing it a welcomed development.
