Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has apologized to residents of Bauchi and environs over the water scarcity that has hit them recently.

The Governor tendered the apology on Sunday when he received the children and grandchildren of his immediate and extended families on a Sallah homage at the Ramat House.

The Governor then used the opportunity to reassure the people that the problem of water supply within the metropolitan city would Soon be over as efforts were in by the government to tackle the issue headlong.

Bala Mohammed attributed the challenge facing the Gubi water dam to a lack of adequate power supply from the national grid which has been epileptic in recent times.

The Governor also reassured that his administration will continue to execute developmental projects across the state so as to leave legacies and landmarks that can stand the taste of time.

Speaking to his kindred, he enjoined them to continue to support his administration with fervent prayers while he, in turn, will continue to support them at their levels to enable them to become responsible citizens in society.

He also said he is being loved by all the people across the Twenty local Government areas of the state, hence, his resolve not to fail the people.

The children and the grandchildren separately through their representatives appreciated the Governor for allowing them to fraternise with him pledging their unalloyed loyalty and support to the administration.
