Bauchi Assembly screen, confirms 24 commissioner nominees

Bauchi State House of Assembly
has screened and confirmed twenty four commissioner nominees sent to it by Governor Bala Mohammed

The confirmation followed their successful screening on the floor of the Assembly presided over by the speaker, Abubakar Y. Suleiman.

In his remarks, the Speaker tasked the commissioners to justify their appointments by being dedicated to portfolios that would be assigned to them.

He also urged them to complement the efforts of the governor in the development of the state.

Speaking with newsmen the appointees expressed happiness at their nominations by the governor, describing the opportunity as a call to serve the people of the state.

They also promised to contribute their quota to the development of the state.

The composition of the nominees is made up five females and the pocket youths.
