BASIDMA and FERMA Strengthen Ties for Road Development

The Director-General of the Bauchi State Infrastructure Development and Maintenance Agency (BASIDMA), Engr. Abdulrahman A. Mai-auduga, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Dr. Chukwuemeka Agbasi, at the agency’s headquarters in Abuja.

During the meeting, both parties engaged in fruitful discussions on potential areas of cooperation, including staff training, knowledge sharing, and joint initiatives to enhance road infrastructure.

The meeting underscored the commitment of both agencies to work together towards improving road safety and infrastructure development.

Speaking during the visit, The Director-General of Bauchi State Infrastructure Development and Maintenance Agency BASIDMA Abdulrahaman Mai-auduga expressed his agency’s desire to learn from FERMA’s expertise and experience in road maintenance and development.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving their shared goals of providing safe and efficient road infrastructure.

According to him, by strengthening their ties, BASIDMA and FERMA can leverage each other’s expertise and resources to deliver better road networks and enhance the overall quality of life for citizens.

For his part, the Managing Director of FERMA Chukwuemeka Agbasi appreciated the visit and expressed his agency’s willingness to collaborate with BASIDMA.

He highlighted the potential benefits of their partnership, including improved road safety, enhanced infrastructure, and increased economic opportunities.
