BASG commended for successful holding of 35th Qur’anic Recitation Competition

Bauchi state government has been commended for providing the necessary support towards the success of this year state Qur’anic recitation competition.

The commendation was made by Bauchi state chairman Qur’anic recitation competition committee, Mallam Mustapha Baba Ilelah during the opening ceremony of the 35th edition of Bauchi state Qur’anic recitation held at the conference of Bauchi central mosques.

Baba Ilelah said this year opening ceremony is low key due to measures put in place by the committee in ensuring that the Covid-19 protocols are observed.

” The state Governor Bala Muhammed has met the demands of the committee”

The chairman Qur’anic recitation competition committee called on the general public to contribute their quarter in providing gifts to the winners on different categories,this will no doubt compliment the efforts of present administration in that direction.

Declaring the event opened Bauchi state Commissioner of religious affairs Ahmad Aliyu Jalam reiterates the government commitment in given out all what it takes for success of the competition.

Aliyu Jalam called on judges to be just fair to all contestants and for the participants to have in their mind that in competition there must be winner and the loser.

While commenting on the guideline of the conduct of the Musabaqa, the Coordinator of the competition,Mallam Abubakar Rariya said the committee carefully selected twelve Judges out many to supervise the competition.

The competition will last for the period of seven days.
