Bagudu lauds SRRBDA ED Faruk Gwandu for empowering youths

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has commended the Executive Director, Finance and Administration, SRRBDA, Sokoto,Alhaji Faruk Madugu Gwandu for donating assorted empowerment materials to unemployed youths in the state.

Bagudu made the commendation on Saturday, in Gwandu,Gwandu Local Government at the distribution ceremony of the empowerment items.

The colourful ceremony took place in Gwandu Local Government Secretariat where 50 deep freezers,100 grinding machines, 70 washing machines, 50 head dryers and 50 barbing clippers were distributed to youths including women.

He recalled that the donor has been extending similar gestures to the people of the area, including women, youths and other vulnerable groups .

He charged the well to do individuals and people in authority to emulate Alhaji Faruk Madugu Gwandu for bringing development to the society.

Bagudu expressed happiness that Faruk Gwandu has emulated the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN,who has become a blessing and honour to Kebbi State.

“Gestures like these have been extended variously to various strata of the people of the state and he has never relented.

“”I must therefore extolled the Minister for what he has been doing to Kebbi and the job opportunities he provided to a cross section of people of Kebbi state including those of Gwandu origin,” the Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum added.

Bagudu said that he and other people of the state were elated to have Malami as their representative in the Federal Executive Council, saying, “he is our worthy Ambassador.””

Bagudu also lauded President Muhammadu Buhari for being tirelessly committed to the even socio-economic development of
Kebbi State.

Also speaking, Malami also said that the importance of the epochal event cannot be overemphasized, saying that the gesture would reduce unemployment, youths restiveness and crimes.

He also commended President Buhari and Bagudu for according top priority to the welfare and comfort of the people of the state.

Malami also commended the donor for the invaluable gestures and urged other privileged individuals to emulate him.

Other notable speakers, including the former Governor of the state, Alhaji Sa’idu Nasamu Dakingari also said that the indigent people of the state and other Nigerians require the urgent support of their wealth brothers and sisters.

Dakingari stressed the need for party unity and called on all APC supporters to vote for Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu and all APC candidates.

The State APC Chairman, Abubakar Muhammad Kana Zuru, commended the donor for his effort to provide the empowerment materials.

The Director General of Legal Aid Council, Aliyu Gwandu has commended the efforts of the State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku CON and the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami,SAN whom according to him played instrumental roles in his appointment.

Speaking earlier, the donor, Alhaji Faruk Madugu Gwandu, Executive Director, Finance and Administration, SRRBDA, said that the gesture was aimed at alleviating the sufferings of the less privileged people in the area.

He explained that he was able to carry out erosion control, construction of earth dams and other social services with the support of Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN.

The ED acknowledged the tieless efforts of Bagudu and Malami to complement the commitment of Buhari to further uplift the living standard of the people of the state.
