Bagudu, Badaru commiserates with Katsina Central Market Fire victims, donates 20 Million Naira

Kebbi State Governor and Chairman, Progressives Governors’ Forum, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, with Jigawa State Governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, in Katsina State, this Wednesday commiserates with the victims of the Katsina Central Market fire.

Bagudu, who spoke on behalf of the Governors, described the fire incident as shocking and urged the traders to accept it in good faith, saying that, it was the divine act of the Almighty Allah .”

The Jigawa State Governor announced a donation of 20 million Naira to the victims, on behalf of Kebbi and Jigawa States.

The fire started around 8am, on Monday, 22nd March 2021. Property worth hundreds of Millions of Naira were destroyed by the inferno.
