Bagudu approves portfolios for Commissioners

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the posting of nine recently sworn in Commissioners to respective ministries in the State Civil Service.

The posting of the Commissioners is contained in a press Statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Babale Umar Yauri mni and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi this Monday.

According to the statement, Hon Ibrahim Augie is posted to Ministry of Finance, Hon. Abubakar Chika Ladan, Ministry of Works and Transport, Hon Abdullahi Muhammad Magoro , Ministry of Information and Culture who is also to oversee Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.

The rest are Hon Hassan Muhammad Shalla who is posted to Ministry of Basic Education and Secondary Education while Hon. Aminu Garba Dandiga is to steer the affairs of the Ministry of Animal Health, Husbandry and Fisheries.

Others are, Hon. Dr. Abba Sani Kalgo posted to Ministry of Budget and Economic Development, Hon Jafar Muhammad, posted to Ministry of Health, Hon. Mamuda M. Wara, posted to Ministry of Land and Housing while Hon. Hayatu A. Bawa is posted to Ministry of Environment.

The posting of the Commissioners is with immediate effect.

In another development, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has also approved the appointment of Dr. Tukur Sani Argungu as the Acting Grand Khadi of the State following the retirement of the incumbent Grand Khadi Muktar Imam Jega.
