APSSON inaugurates New EXCOs for NITT Branch, charges them to uphold Capacity Development for members

The national President of Association of Professional Secretarial Staff of Nigeria (APSSON) Comrade Nasiru Yaro has charged new executive members of NITT Branch to formulate policies and programmes that will be knowledge oriented such as seminars to members as the association is now a Chartered Professional.

He gave me charge at the formal inauguration of Nigerian Institute for Transport Technology Zaria branch today.

Comrade Yaro said, it is obligatory upon the branch to now fly the flag of the institute at the national fora through adequate representation at any conference and meetings where issues bothering on the state of affairs of the profession and the nation are exhaustively deliberated.

The President also advised the new executives to see their emergence as a call to service and accept it as a challenge.

He acknowledged the institutions management for being supportive and hospitality to members who come to witness the ceremony.

In his message, the Director General of NITT Zaria Dr. Bayero Salih Farah said the institute will continue to support the association.

Represented by Engr.Elkana Ngbale Director, Training of the institute said there is no office that can perform effectively without the secretariat that is why you are special.

DR.Bayero warned that if a secret of an organization leaked mostly it is from the Secretary which is not profer and unprofessional.

In her acceptance speech,the NITT Branch President, Alechenu Patience Eneh assured the management and members of the association of its total commitment towards achieving the desire success.

She promised to carry every member along and appeal to all members to join hand with her in moving the association to greater height.

The new executives were to serve for a period of Four years term.
