The Embattled Acting National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Umar Damagum, has sounded a warning to Nigerians about the dangers of voting for incompetent leaders.
Speaking during a visit to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, Damagum lamented that many Nigerians are suffering due to the policies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Damagum’s comments come amidst reports of his suspension by a faction of the PDP’s National Working Committee (NWC) alongside National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu for alleged disloyalty.
However, Governor Mohammed, Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, denied the existence of factions within the party and assured that all issues will be resolved amicably.
Damagum emphasized the need for Nigerians to prioritize credibility when choosing leaders, Explained that Those who collected spaghetti and wrappers to bring in present government are feeling it more than anybody else.
In contrast, Governor Bala Mohammed reaffirmed the PDP’s commitment to restoring Nigeria’s economic stability and security.
He added that The party aims to provide proven and tested leaders who prioritize governance over personal interests comes 2027 General Elections.
