The Village Head of Alkaleri, Alhaji Bala Muhammad Giɗaɗo, has described Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed as a worthy son of the Local Government.

He made this known while speaking to journalists who were on a tour of ongoing and completed developmental projects across the 20 Local Government Areas of Bauchi State.

Alhaji Bala Giɗaɗo noted that the people of Alkaleri are proud of the Governor’s numerous contributions to the growth of the area.

According to him, the projects executed are a true reflection of the Governor’s commitment to the welfare of his people and his determination to transform Bauchi State.

Among the projects inspected in Alkaleri Local Government are the permanent site of the Bauchi Oil and Gas Academy, township road networks within Alkaleri town, as well as the construction of the 19-kilometre Dindima–Yashi–Mainama’aji road.

These infrastructures, the Sarkin Alkaleri explained, are already easing the movement of people and goods across the communities.

The tour led by Commissioner Ministry of Information Usman Usman also covered the 56.2-kilometre Yashi–Yelwan Duguri–Yuli road, a major route linking several agrarian settlements.

The Sarkin Alkaleri, Alhaji Bala Muhammad Giɗaɗo, therefore urged residents to continue to support the government for sustainable peace and development.

Residents say the road, once in a deplorable state, had made access to markets, schools, and health facilities extremely difficult.

They believe its reconstruction will enhance socio-economic activities and improve livelihoods.

Journalists on the tour observed that schools and healthcare facilities were also among the projects delivered by the Governor’s administration in the Local Government.

These include classroom blocks and improved health centres aimed at providing quality education and accessible healthcare to rural dwellers.

Other residents of Alkaleri who spoke during the inspection expressed joy over the pace of development brought by the present administration.

They testified that the projects have reduced hardship, boosted local commerce, and given them a sense of belonging in the affairs of the State.

With these interventions, the people of Alkaleri Local Government say they are optimistic that more projects will be executed to consolidate the transformation drive of Governor Bala Mohammed.
