Again, Emir of Zazzau Bags Chancellorship Appointment

Authorities of Green Field University, Kaduna one of the Private University in Nigeria has appointed the Chairman Kaduna State Council of Emirs and Chiefs, His Highness the Emir of Zazzau Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli as pioneer Chancellor of the University.

The University Proprietor, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Engineer, Chief Simon Nwakacha made the disclosure presentation of the Appointment Letter during courtesy call to the Emir at his Palace in Zaria this afternoon.

Engineer Nwakacha cited the Emir’s sterling leadership qualities and his contribution in advancing Education in the country as the reason of appointing him to serves as the University pioneer Chancellor.

Responding the Emir thank the University Authority for finding him fit for the position, regarding the appointment also as a honour to the Emirate. He promise of contributing his quota towards the development of the University.

With the Pro-Chancellor at the visit were members of the University Board of Trustees and Management.

The investiture of the Emir will come up at the University first Convocation Ceremony before the year runs out.

By this appointment, the Emir of Zazzau, His Highness Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli is now Chancellor of Three Universities in te country, with University of Jos and Capital City University, Kano as the two other Universities
